Kristin DeWitt

Kristin DeWitt, PsyD

Professor of Psychology

Biography

Dr. Kristin DeWitt joined the psychology department in 2015. Prior to coming to Cedarville University, she taught at Clearwater Christian College in sunny Florida for 28 years. The courses she teaches at Cedarville include General Psychology, Lifespan Development, Abnormal Psychology, Neurophysiological Psychology, Health Psychology, and Group Dynamics. She loves teaching and mentoring students and she thoroughly enjoys spending time with students outside the classroom; you will often find her meeting students for coffee or for a "walk and talk." Dr. DeWitt’s desire is to infuse her lectures, personal conversations, and relationships with God’s Word, encouraging herself and others toward Christlikeness. One of her favorite Bible verses is Romans 15:13 "May the God of HOPE fill you with all JOY and PEACE as you TRUST in Him, so that you may overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit."
