Enrollment Management Leadership
Dr. Scott Van Loo, Vice President for Enrollment Management
Scott Van Loo became the Vice President for Enrollment Management in November of 2016.
Van Loo holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton, a M.A. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Wright State University, and a B.A. in Comprehensive Social Science from Cedarville University. He has completed leadership training at the Center for Creative Leadership, the IUPUI Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and the Council of Independent Colleges Executive Leadership Academy.
His experience includes two years of teaching history and government to high school students prior to serving for ten years at Cedarville University as Associate Dean of Student Life (2000-2007), Associate Director of Admissions (2007-2008) and Director of Admissions (2008-2009). Van Loo returned to Cedarville after holding cabinet-level positions at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and most recently at Ashland University in Ohio.
Van Loo is a frequent presenter at regional and national enrollment management conferences and he has contributed to publications in the Chronicle of Higher Education and Business Officer Magazine – a monthly publication of the National Association of College and University Business Officers.
