June 9, 2022 — Cedarville Magazine spoke with Will Smallwood and Scott Van Loo ’98 about the importance of scholarships in making a Cedarville education affordable and attainable for students.

June 8, 2022 — The admission process for Cedarville University’s new Master of Medical Science in PA Studies Program will begin this summer, with the goal of seating its first class in May 2023. The consecutive 24-month physician assistant (PA) program is pending an accreditation review and decision by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) this September.

June 2, 2022 — Mike Weller has had a phenomenal career. As associate professor of athletic training, Mike Weller teaching an athletic training class at Cedarvillehe has instructed, mentored, and coached hundreds of Cedarville students into careers that span high school, college, and professional sports. He is helping lead Cedarville’s program to new heights with the start of the Master of Athletic Training degree in June 2022.

June 2, 2022 — Beating cancer is no small feat, but sometimes learning how to be a survivor is when the real battle begins. Junior Samantha Wisor from Clearfield, Pennsylvania, has learned to draw on her experience surviving a large brain tumor to prepare for a career in social work.

June 1, 2022 — As Cedarville University continues its student enrollment growth, the University continues to add new academic programs to meet the needs of its students and the business community.  Cedarville University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) accounting concentration is now available to students who desire to weave key business principles among a biblical worldview approach in education.

May 31, 2022 — It’s not often that employers ask their interns to buy their company, but for Bonnie Rutledge, an offer her junior year changed her career and local community for the better.  Rutledge, a 2020 Cedarville University graduate from Jewett, Ohio, was an intern at the Harrison News-Herald, fulfilling a requirement for her professional writing and information design degree.

May 27, 2022 — She’s a faculty member in Cedarville University’s social work program. She works part-time at Crossroad Hospice and Dayton Children’s Hospital.

May 26, 2022 — A servant heart, along with an Amazon Alexa, has provided a retired, blind professor all he needs to serve the sight-impaired community.  Dr. Ed Greenwood, who currently lives in Springfield, Ohio, served as an English professor at Cedarville University before retiring in 1989.

May 25, 2022 — As Cedarville University continues to grow its student body, academic programs and campus facilities, the need for someone to serve the university by keeping communication flowing between the president's office and campus leadership has become apparent. As a result, Dr. Thomas White, president, announced today Dr. Zach Bowden will serve as the university’s first chief of staff.

May 24, 2022 — Since childhood, Josiah Kareck, a college student from Antioch, Tennessee, has wanted to travel to Ireland. Now, thanks to a new scholarship named after pioneers of study abroad at Cedarville University, Harmon and Audrey Bergen, he can.

May 16, 2022 — Cedarville University continues to thrive, with record enrollments for 15 consecutive years and new facilities that will transform the campus for the growing student body.

May 13, 2022 — Recent Cedarville University alumnus Warner Litrenta will be spending his first year after graduation as a cross-cultural ambassador with the U.S. State Department’s Fulbright Program in Spain.

May 11, 2022 — Both medications require a prescription and should be started as early as possible within five days of symptoms appearing.

May 10, 2022 — Three graduating nursing students from Cedarville University will spend their first 26 days after graduation serving in the West African nation of Togo alongside three rising seniors, along with associate professor of nursing Scott Long.

May 10, 2022 — Dr. Megan Brown, assistant professor of education at Cedarville University, has been selected to serve on the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award committee.

May 9, 2022 — Pursuing careers in collegiate math education or actuarial science, seven students have been accepted into multiple esteemed Ph.D. programs or in actuarial departments within the insurance industry.

May 6, 2022 — Graduation is a special time for any student, but for Rufus Mathew, a surprise fundraiser, bringing his parents from Bahrain to the United States for the event, will make walking to the stage to receive his diploma even sweeter.

May 5, 2022 — He came from halfway around the world, with very little knowledge about Cedarville. And now, four years later, Rufus Mathew is one of the most well-known, well-loved, and respected students on campus.

April 29, 2022 — While students from Cedarville University’s NASA Student Launch team worked hard on their rocket, they also taught rocket basics in the local community.
