Mailing Graphic Guide

The following guides integrate the University brand into mailing graphics. Please contact print and postal services for current postal guidelines and for approval on all artwork before going to print. Visit the brand resources page to download the following print ready files.

Return Address

There are three different formats for the return address. Select the format that fits and looks the best on your envelope, postcard, or self-mailer. Please do not resize the graphics any smaller than provided to comply with postal standards for minimum font size. All formats may be printed in a 1-color (2955), 1-color tint, grayscale, or black.

Letters using this indicia are considered bulk mail. Under this rate they cost less but may take longer to deliver. This permit only allows for mail to be sent through the Cedarville post office.

Presort First Class

Presort First Class

The presort first class is used when a first class mailing is automation optimized. This optimization earns discounted postage. You must have 200 pieces to use this indicia.

First Class

First Class

Used to send letters and flats at a first class mail rate. Essentially it is a preprinted first class stamp. You must have at least 200 pieces to use this indicia.

Endorsements

Endorsements are added below the return address and provide instruction to the USPS when a piece of mail is undeliverable. The rate at which a piece is mailed includes certain levels of service but including an endorsement provides a repetition of that instruction.

Address Service Requested

Address Service Requested

provides forwarding and address correction services when possible. If the mail is undeliverable and not forwardable, it is returned to the sender with the reason identified on the mailpiece. This is the highest level of service and is the default for all first class mail.

Change Service Requested

Change Service Requested

provides address correction services without forwarding or return. If undeliverable, either the new address or the reason it is undeliverable is provided to the sender.

Electronic Service Requested

Electronic Service Requested

directs mailpiece to a computerized forwarding system for processing. This is the most cost effective option for undeliverable mail and should be the default for all bulk mailings.

Return Service Requested

Return Service Requested

provides address correction services and always returns the piece.
