One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville

Ministries

At Cedarville University, we believe that intentional ministry involvement is a vital part of your undergraduate or graduate experience and helps prepare you for a future of using your vocation to impact the world for Jesus Christ.

How will you get involved? Minister to inmates in a local jail? Tutor refugees? Travel overseas on a short-term medical missions trip? You’ll find those opportunities and many more at Cedarville.

Global Outreach

Whether locally or around the world, you will have opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel to a hurting world.

Local CU GO

Local

Apply what you’re learning in chapel and in the classroom as you serve through church ministries and community outreach teams. Your faith will grow as you help meet the physical and spiritual needs of those you serve. There are more than 45 teams for you to get involved with.

Domestic CU GO

Domestic

Each year, Global Outreach teams minister around the country. Where will you choose to go? You could teach English to immigrants in New York City, repair roofs for the disadvantaged in Memphis, Tennessee, provide medical care to refugees in Atlanta, Georgia, or choose from several other opportunities.

International CU GO

International

Serve on a short-term missions trip, sharing the Gospel. There are opportunities for nursing, pharmacy, children's ministry, engineering, camp ministry, and much more. We encourage EVERY student to take at least one international GO trip. Each year, more than 200 students participate in international trips. All majors welcome.

On-Campus Ministries

You'll find plenty of ways to serve and lead at Cedarville. You'll grow in your faith and leadership skills as you serve others.

Discipleship Ministries

Discipleship Ministries oversees over 100 discipleship groups (called “d-groups”) that meet regularly for prayer, accountability, encouragement, and Bible study. Serve as small-group leader or be a member of the Discipleship Council (DC), which helps administer d-groups. Both are great ways to hone your leadership skills while encouraging spiritual growth on campus.

Student Leadership

Through the exploration of a biblical definition of leadership, Cedarville is intentional about equipping student leaders with the knowledge and skills to implement positive change through effective stewardship, influence, and service. All student leaders attend our annual CULEAD conference, that opens opportunities to serve the campus community and beyond.

Chapel

Our daily chapel services provide many opportunities to minister to the campus community. Students serve on tech crews and lead worship as part of chapel bands every day. Weekly, student-led chapels provide opportunities for students to plan and lead the services, including preaching opportunities for student chaplains.
