Cedarville University continues to make its mark in NCAA Division II athletics on the field of competition, and even more so in the classroom.

A team of students from Cedarville University’s School of Pharmacy placed third in the 2022 American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Clinical Research Challenge (CRC). In total, 82 universities competed in the clinical research competition.

The Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) has named Cedarville University’s Dr. Keith Shomper, professor of computer science and cyber operations, as one of its Excellence Award recipients for July 2021.

School is out for the summer, but that doesn’t mean Cedarville University’s campus is quiet.

A partnership between Cedarville University and Legacy Christian Academy will offer Legacy students rigorous college-level courses without leaving the Legacy campus. The credits earned through the program can be used toward both high school and college graduation.

Trevin Wax, vice president of research and resource development at the North American Mission Board, will serve as visiting professor at Cedarville University for the 2022-23 academic year. His role is effective August 1.

The Cedarville University School of Pharmacy continues to exceed national norms. This year, 24 students or recent graduates in the school of pharmacy received residency opportunities. This gives Cedarville an 80% residency acceptance rate, while the national average is 77%.

While the national pass rate average for recently graduated engineering students is 62%, according to the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), all of Cedarville's first civil engineering cohort graduates passed the FE exam in their first attempt.
