August 8, 2022 — Sixteen months after Cedarville University broke ground on the $8 million Callan athletic and academic expansion, the university officially opened the facility with a dedication ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

July 12, 2022 — A team of students from Cedarville University’s School of Pharmacy placed third in the 2022 American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Clinical Research Challenge (CRC). In total, 82 universities competed in the clinical research competition.

July 11, 2022 — The first graduating cohort of Cedarville University’s civil engineering program completed senior design projects, including partnerships with Design Outreach and Samaritan’s Purse, focused on creating prototypes of service applications for international use.

July 5, 2022 — A team of Cedarville University engineering students navigated its way to first place in the Autonomous Vehicle category at the 29th annual Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition June 3-6 in Rochester, Michigan. The victorious team finished in the Auto-Nav Challenge in 5:05 to win the $3,000 prize.

July 1, 2022 — For Ben Johnson and Carissa Johnson — no relation — this summer was a transformational period in their lives as they traveled across the United States singing and worshiping as part of the University’s first-ever Transformational Tour.

July 1, 2022 — The Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) has named Cedarville University’s Dr. Keith Shomper, professor of computer science and cyber operations, as one of its Excellence Award recipients for July 2021.

June 29, 2022 — A partnership between Cedarville University and Legacy Christian Academy will offer Legacy students rigorous college-level courses without leaving the Legacy campus. The credits earned through the program can be used toward both high school and college graduation.

June 27, 2022 — Trevin Wax, vice president of research and resource development at the North American Mission Board, will serve as visiting professor at Cedarville University for the 2022-23 academic year. His role is effective August 1.

June 21, 2022 — The Cedarville University School of Pharmacy continues to exceed national norms. This year, 24 students or recent graduates in the school of pharmacy received residency opportunities. This gives Cedarville an 80% residency acceptance rate, while the national average is 77%.

June 20, 2022 — While the national pass rate average for recently graduated engineering students is 62%, according to the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), all of Cedarville's first civil engineering cohort graduates passed the FE exam in their first attempt.

June 15, 2022 — One year after the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez snapped Cedarville University's five-year winning streak in the World Solar Splash competition, Cedarville used a flawless run in the endurance segment of the 2022 World Solar Splash to win this year’s championship.
