After months of research and trial and error, a Cedarville University professor created more than just a student-led research project, but a tangible product that will benefit athletes both at Cedarville and elsewhere.

The university’s board of trustees was on campus for its annual fall meeting September 28-29. During the two days of meetings, university administrators provided reports on record enrollment, record fundraising and strong financial results and looked ahead to a 10-year vision for the university. The board took actions that will position Cedarville for continued growth.

Historically, Cedarville University’s annual fall career fair is the largest opportunity for students to interact with prospective employers. This is expected to be the case on Wednesday, Oct. 5, when 177 organizations participate in Cedarville’s fair in the Doden Field House. The event, which is open to the public, is from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

On October 1, during the official groundbreaking ceremony of the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center, Cedarville University announced the official naming of the University’s business school as the Robert W. Plaster School of Business.

Hannah Nocella ‘20, Abbie Nilius ‘19, and Bekah Colon ’19 didn’t know they would end up traveling the country together when they started nursing school at Cedarville University. Hannah and Bekah met during their first nursing class freshman year, and the three of them have been inseparable ever since their sophomore years.

Cedarville University engineering students hope to stay afloat during the 30th annual cardboard canoe race on Friday, September 30, from 3-5 p.m. at the university’s Cedar Lake. Hundreds of spectators will line the sidewalks around the lake to cheer on the handmade boats.
